My Background
I am a children's book illustrator and love picture books. I love the process; the story and the wonderful coupling of pictures and words. I have taken artist courses through AAU The Academy of Art University. I am a children's illustrator student of The Illustration Dept and SVS Learn

I work in pencil, and soft watercolour washes. My tools include; most importantly my coffee in my favourite coffee cup, pencils, white erasers, watercolors, brushes, my lightboard, computer and wacom cintiq 16. I paint traditionally but also touch up a painting digitally, or digitally sketch then paint.

Children, animals and weather directly influence my work. My inspirations are also other artists; my favourites being Isabelle Arsenault, Rebecca Green and Lizbeth Zwerger's stunning images.
