My Background

 I am a children's book illustrator and love picture books.  I love the process; the story and the wonderful coupling of pictures and words. I have taken artist courses through AAU The Academy of Art University. I was a children's illustrator student of The Illustration Dept and SVS Learn

I work digitally.  My tools include; most importantly my coffee in my favourite coffee cup, computer and wacom cintiq 16. I paint traditionally sometimes, and digitally enhance.

I was frustrated trying to find a digital pencil similar to my traditional one, so I created one.

Children, animals and weather directly influence my work.  My inspirations are also other artists; my favourites being Isabelle Arsenault, Rebecca Green and Lizbeth Zwerger's stunning images.
